Review

The Stumbleupon toolbar is a great way of finding stuff on the web. The bar uses the stumbleupon services, which works similarly to Digg's, readit's, and other portals. Stumbleupon allows you to rate any website that you want. The feedback that you give a site will be sent to all the users who are connected to the Stumbleupon service. So, if you like a website, you can rate it positively. If a lot of people do the same thing, that website will get more visits. Also, you can use the toolbar to find content that suits your likings. But that's not all the toolbar allows you to do. It is also great for sharing content with friends who don't use or have the Stumbleupon bar or services. You can use the Send to feature to send the website to anyone who has an e-mail address. The users will receive an e-mail from Stumbleupon with a link to the site. All of this can be done without leaving the present website, so you don't lose any time at all in opening your e-mail and writing anyone. There is also a version for Firefox.
Advantages
  • Great for sharing content.
  • Small bar, a lot of punch.
Disadvantages
  • None.

This program is great! If you are unsure of what you would like to see, or are interested in finding "like" sites. Sometimes, you can spend hours stumbling, with the option of getting more sites like the one you just saw, or not ever again. you can fill out a simple and free profile to further customize your stumbling experience.
